The Mapex Saturn V Tour 22" 4pc shell pack produces a warm, vintage tone and packs a great punch for its size. A hybrid of walnut and maple, the 6-ply shells provide an open, cutting resonance. The blend of vintage warmth and modern cut brings full character and sound to your performance. And, with the wide tuning range provided by the SONIClear bearing edge, the Mapex Saturn is perfect for any drummer - and any style of music you want to play.

Soniclear Bearing Edge

The SONIClear™ Bearing Edge is standard on all Mars shells and allows the drumhead to sit flatter and make better contact with the shell. The result is a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning and a significantly expanded tuning range.

The SONIClear™ on the rack toms increases overall resonance by preserving vibration in the drumheads and shell whilst preventing energy transferring to the hardware.
