Unique Body

The RG950WFMZ Premium Electric Guitar features an American basswood body, along with a flamed maple top. The distinctive Tiger-Eye finish allows the beautiful flamed maple grain to shine through, giving an attractive appearance that will stand out on any stage. As well as stunning aesthetics, the RG950WFMZ also features a single-cutaway design, which allows players to easily reach the higher frets and have complete access across the whole fingerboard.

Neck & Fingerboard

The Ibanez RG950WFMZ is equipped with a 5-piece neck made up wenge and bubinga. This combination of tonewoods provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a longer sustain, that will not warp over time. The use of Ibanez's own Wizard neck profile makes the RG950WFMZ Guitar extremely playable and optimised for lead guitarists. The nature of this thinner neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords, for a smooth performance. A wenge fingerboard is also included, mounted with jumbo stainless steel frets for a distinctive appearance and natural feel. For added playability, each fret is finished with Ibanez's prestige fret edge treatment, specially rounded for a smooth play and a comfortable neck.

Angled Headstock

Like many guitars from Ibanez, the RG950WFMZ Electric Guitar features an angled headstock, which not only provides a stylish appearance, but also offers better string pressure. By increasing the string pressure on the strings, it helps them stay in the nut slots, and decreases loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, for better sustain and smooth playability.

DiMarzio IBZ Pickups

Manufactured by DiMarzio, specially for Ibanez, this set of IBZ pickups deliver a vivid tone that is easy to control. For the perfect sound, a 5-way position blade and volume and tone controls are included.

Edge-Zero Bridge & Tremolo

The RG950WFMZ Premium Electric Guitar also features an Edge-Zero II bridge which makes tuning easier and faster, and also provides perfect intonation for long performances. The additional Tremolo arm is also provided and allows players to achieve smooth pitch bending effects and added sustain.
