The original Red Special guitar was constructed by Brian May and his father, and its solid body was even oak and mahogany taken from the now legendary fireplace by Brian and his father back in the mid-sixties. This scaled down version takes its inspiration from this iconic guitar, and is ideal for travelling musicians who may be limited to space or luggage allowance. It is also perfect for younger or smaller players.
Powerful Pickup
The Mini May is equipped with a tri-sonic style single coil pickup, which maintains its authenticity just like the original. This single pickup delivers a big round sound with rich harmonics, that will sit well in most mixes.
Stylish Appearance
This stunning guitar is finished in a metallic antique cherry finish along with an ABS cream pinstripe binding. The black pickguard matches the elegant curves of the body shape and breaks up the block colour. With its simple design and versatility, this guitar will suit any appearance.
