The San Dimas offers an iconic dinky body shape that is sleekly contoured, and has an excellent neck joint that provides easy playability, comfort, and speed. It features a body constructed from ash, coated in a natural ash finish that shines class and professionalism. Charvel are known for their 'modified' aesthetic based on classic guitar designs, alongside sleek paint finishes designed to get you noticed.
Maple Speed Neck With Graphite Reinforcement
The San Dimas has a neck specification aimed at high-performance and speed, ideal for the shredding guitarist. The neck itself is a bolt-on-two-piece maple speed neck with a pair of graphite reinforcement rods and rolled fingerboard edges that help you to glide across with comfort and speed, and also resist bending and warping from environmental stress. The neck is finished in hand-rubbed urethane gel for sublime, smooth and speedy playability. The fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets with dot inlays, offering a rounded tone. The fingerboard is made of aged ebony and offers 12'' - 16'' compound radius, which is designed for high-speed playing, completely unhindered position switching, and wide bending without fretting out. The heel-mounted spoke wheel allows for quick and easy truss rod tweaks.
