Incorporating a powerful DMT Design split coil pickup in the middle position the Custom Zone bass provides a deep and defined tone with plenty of pop, perfect for a range of playing styles. Unlike humbucking and j pickups split coils work by having two halves of a single coil pickup next to each other, this allows them to deliver a balanced tone with plenty of clarity and precision.
