View Full DescriptionThe Epiphone Les Paul Custom BlackBack PRO incorporates an innovative locking tune-o-matic bridge and tail piece system. Every guitarist who uses a tune-o-matic bridge will have encounted the bridge/tailpiece falling off due to lack of stability when the strings are removed, but the locking tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece clips and locks into place without the use of tools to eliminate this problem, and also increases sustain by up to 20 percent.
Utilizing a pickup coil tap the Epiphone Les Paul Custom BlackBack Pro gives you a huge amount of tonal options allowing you to switch the pickup settings from a standard humbucking mode to a single coil making it an extremely versatile guitar excellent for live situations when an array of tones are required.
Constructed from a solid fully mahogany body for a deeper and fuller tone, the Epiphone Les Paul Custom BlackBack also incorporates a mahogany neck which has been carefully designed and hand fitted in a glued-in fashion to allow the maximum transfer of vibrations between the body and neck to produce larger sustain and resonance.
This "Tuxedo" style Les Paul has been finished in Antique Ivory, along with gold hardware, "witchhat" control knobs with metal inserts and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard with Pearloid inlays; a design that would compliment a tuxedo and set off a player on stage with style.
