The 2015 Les Paul Traditional features Gibson's innovative G FORCE™ technology, a refined version of the earlier Min-ETune™ system. This allows you to quickly and accurately tune your guitar with nothing more than a couple of button presses and a strum of the strings.
Gibson have widened the neck and fingerboard of the Les Paul Traditional for 2015, greatly improving comfort when performing hammer-ons, pull-offs and string bends. The 2015 model also features a thicker one-piece Rosewood fingerboard, which has been expertly sanded, buffed and treated with oil for an incredibly smooth and silky feel.
Using high quality Alnico V magnets and Orange Drop capacitors, the guitar's two powerful 1959 Tribute humbucking pickups deliver all of the iconic Les Paul tones you know and love. The pickups have deliberately "unmatched" bobbin windings, providing the sound with an authentic vintage quality.
To celebrate the 100th birthday of legendary guitarist and inventor Les Paul, Gibson's 2015 models are adorned with a facsimile of his signature across the headstock. Also featured is a unique Les Paul hologram on the back of the headstock, which serves as both a badge of authenticity and a tribute to the man who started it all.
