EMG 81 & 60 Humbuckers

The Ibanez RGIR20E incorporates a set of powerful EMG 81 and 60 humbucking pickups which provide a punchy and thick tonality when in the 81 bridge position and a warm and crisp tone in the 60 neck position. Constructed from close aperture coils and featuring ceramic magnets the 81 and 60 humbucking pickups provide advanced detail and a truly meaty tone. EMG pickups are favoured by many professional musicians due to their unbeatable tone, active circuitry, high output and low noise.

Killswitch

Also featuring an extremely useful and unique killswitch in the electronic circuit the RGIR20E delivers the ability to add a chopping style effect used by the likes of Eddie Van Halen by simply switching the installed toggle switch next to the volume and tone controls in various patterns to create a range of staccato style effects.

Nitro Wizard Neck

The use of Ibanez's own Nitro Wizard neck allows for the RGIR20E to be extremely playable and optimized for lead guitarists as the thin nature of the neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords.

Edge Zero II Tremolo

The Ibanez Edge-Zero II Tremolo is a high performance double locking tremolo that provides a solution to the problem many guitarists have with floating tremolos, keeping the bridge level whilst adjusting tunings. With the innovative Zero Point system the Edge-Zero II retains its neutral and balanced position regardless of the tension adjustments allowing quicker tuning and a hassle free set-up.
