View Full DescriptionThe RG2228 has a basswood body with the Ibanez Edge III-8 bridge. A double-locking fixed bridge, it is specifically designed to handle and augment the extended range of 8-string guitars.
The five-piece maple and wenge neck is fast and playable, with KTS™ TITANIUM rods for extra strength. The 24 jumbo frets on the rosewood fingerboard have the Prestige fret edge treatment, which improves comfort and playability.
The guitar is supplied with a hardshell case to keep it safe on the road.
