Mahogany Body & Quilted Maple Top

The SA960QM Premium Electric Guitar features an eye-catching mahogany body, topped with stunning quilted maple to create a visually stunning and unique style. Along with its elegant contours and arched top, the SA960QM's lightweight structure can be wielded all night long without shoulder strain. As well as appearance, the SA960QM also features a cutaway body shape which allows easier access to the higher frets for flexibility across the whole fingerboard.

Classic Angled Headstock

The SA960QM features an angled headstock, which not only provides a classic Ibanez appearance, but also offers better string pressure. By increasing the string pressure on the strings, it helps them stay in the nut slots, and decreases loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners for better sustain and smooth playability.

Bound Rosewood Fingerboard

The Ibanez Premium Guitar features a rosewood fingerboard which offers a smooth, natural finish for a comfortable playing experience, along with a very responsive, bright, snappy attack and smooth sustain. It’s bound edges allow for a smooth play and fluid hand flexibility across the whole neck.

DiMarzio IBZ Pickups

The Ibanez SA series guitar features a set of DiMarzio’s IBZ pickups, which are made specifically for Ibanez guitars and deliver a beautifully balanced tone suitable for a variety of playing styles. With a humbucker at the bridge, and single-coils at the neck and in the middle, the SA960QM produces a vivid, easy-to-control tone with a medium to high output. While the bridge pickup offers powerful volume and warmth for delivering crushing leads and solos, the single-coil neck is perfect for creating sweet chords. The middle pickup is designed with a warmer tonality than typical vintage single-coils, offering clear, well-balanced characteristics which complement the neck and bridge pickups.

SynchroniZR Tremolo Bridge

The SA960QM Premium Electric Guitar also features a SynchroniZR tremolo bridge which provides all the innovations of the original ZR tremolo in a non-locking design. The tremolo arm is made of lightweight Duralumin for increased balance and excellent intonation. This tremolo function provides pitch bending effects and enhanced sustain, and can easily be adjusted for the optimum effect.
