The Ray35-Koa features a smooth maple neck which enables fast and comfortable playing. The bolt-on maple neck yields bright and twangy tones with amazing clarity, while the rosewood fingerboard creates bright sounds with warm lows.

The Ray35 is instantly recognisable as a relative of the classic Music Man Stingray Bass, with its clean lines and curvaceous shape. The Ray35-Koa is crafted with a stunning Hawaiian koa top which not only adds to the aesthetic features, but offers sonically pleasing tones too. The unique Hawaiian koa top brings the brighter tones to the overall sound, it is focused and matures into a warmer sound which works well with the mahogany body.

Quality Music Man Electronics

Equipped with quality, Music Man designed electronics, the Ray 35 features a single bridge humbucker for a complex, strong sound. The alnico magnets within the humbucker work exceptionally well as a pickup, providing a smooth and musical tone. The built-in 3-band active preamp provides a clean signal to your amplifier for a variety of great, full tones. The ergonomic controls are smooth and are placed in a sweeping curve which makes it easy to adjust your sound in one movement.
