ENGL’s Retro Tube Amp provides players with the perfect gateway into the world of vintage soundscapes and classic ENGL tones. Its 50 watts of power makes it perfect for most stage settings, allowing players to create classic tube distortion thanks to the EL34 power tubes. Its set of ECC83 preamp tubes creates beautiful dynamics, allowing its 2 channels to create an incredible range of sounds. The amps channel 1 produces a sparkling clean, with bright, warm characteristics which morph into a harmonically rich crunch when the gain boost is engaged. Channel 2 delivers a classic warm overdrive, offering a wide range of retro tones. Independent EQ’s, volumes, and gain controls provide excellent tone shaping, while the bright, tone, and gain boost offer further tonal enhancements.

Excellent Connectivity

The amp features a range of ins/outs for players to expand their performance, allowing the connection of footswitches to control the amp’s functions without the need to be near the amp. The range of footswitch inputs allows players to control different aspects of the amps functions, while the special S.A.C. port allows the connection of ENGL’s custom footswitch to manipulate key functions directly. The featured FX loops allow the connection of external stompboxes, with a balanced control to adjust the level the effects unit influences the amp.
