Grunge and Surf Tones with Plenty of Punch and Sustain
The body of the Seattle Bass Guitar is made of paulownia wood; a particularly lightweight wood that helps our guitars provide full tone whilst remaining surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. With its solid body, maple neck, poplar laminate fingerboard, Korean chrome hardware and vintage hard tail bridge, this is a well-crafted, extremely playable instrument.
The PJ style pickup set-up, with volume and tone controls, mean that this bass guitar is able to reproduce an authentic variety of classic grunge sounds. It's the crisp clear tone with good low end depth, punch and sustain that separate this bass from the crowd.
The Seattle Short Scale features standard tuning but a shorter neck, ensuring that playing the bass is more comfortable for those who find themselves stretching to play a standard 34" scale.
Dependable Build Quality At Low Cost
The build quality and attention to detail are impressive, especially for an entry level model, and the high quality gloss finish lends the guitar a style which won't betray its lower price tag. Available in a shorter scale, this bass guitar is perfect for younger players and adults with a smaller reach and it won't let you down.
Sustainable Tone Woods
Gear4music bass guitars feature sustainable wood that meets the needs of the evolving world. Composed of poplar laminate, the dense and natural grain of the updated fretboards give improved tone and volume.
