The C519M is the ideal solution for recording brass and woodwind instruments, from stage applications to studio recording. The AKG C519M is a compact condenser microphone, with a clip-on design for optimal positioning capabilities.

The microphone is suited to recording the likes of a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba, didgeridoo and other wind-based instruments. At the heart of the microphone is the cardioid polar pattern. This tight polar pattern makes it ideal for use near monitor wedges for added flexibility.

The robust and flexible design features a robust and stable gooseneck. This allows you to achieve the best possible position for your microphone, in relation to your instrument. The clip-on design features a rubberised mounting clip, designed to fit and secure to a wide selection of instruments.

The mic also features a built-in transducer shock mount, providing optimal rejection of mechanical noise for improved audio performance. The microphone comes complete with a detachable microphone XLR(male) to miniXLR(female) cable.
