Designed from the ground-up, the Studiologic Numa X Piano GT features an innovative adaptive colour user interface, UX Logic, giving you the most streamlined way to take control over your system. Always in sync, the display and encoders will synchronize in colour for the selected zone, giving you clear and easy access to all functions and customisations you may need to make to your sound in real-time. Utilising only one sleek and uncrowded side-control pannel as the main interface of the Numa X Piano GT, should you wish to make changes on the fly, each parameter will become available to you immediately without the need for tedious menu-diving or other boundaries that can stifle your creativity.
Onboard are a multitude of sound engines that have been meticulously crafted to provide the most realistic and authentic piano sounds available. A mixture of highly detailed sampling, Wave-shaping and physical modelling, the results are sublime in quality and unrivalled in accuracy. Featuring both acoustic and electric piano soundbanks with a combination of vintage electric and hybrid pianos, the Numa X Piano GT contains a plethora of unique tones to explore to find what works for your performance or within your project and mix.
To add a professional shine to your tones, the Numa X Piano GT is pre-loaded with a variety of effects to help your tones sit within your projects and mixes and find a space of their own to stand out or sit in the background. There is eight insert FX in total, with two for each Zone and then the master delay and reverb sections. The master section utilises audio-optimised FDN reverb technology to produce highly realistic sounding spaces to give your tones the perfect level of decay and depth within your performance, whether you need a close, tight and intimate room sound or a large and cavernous tone with seemingly endless decay, the FDN reverb technology will deliver.
Additionally, the acoustic piano sounds have dedicated DSP effects to simulate the change of timbre that the resonance chamber and piano wire has on your sound, as well as adding release, key-off and damper noise sounds that reacts seamlessly to your playing. Specific Zoom settings are available, allowing to obtain an endless variety of sounds just making different settings of some editing parameters, which can be stored in each Program.
Equipped with the most contemporary keybed available, the Numa X Piano 73 features a FATAR hammer action keybed, allowing you to convey all the nuance and detail within your performance exactly as you intend. The TP/400 wooden hammer action FATAR keys produce an extremely natural and well-balanced feel, thanks to the three contacts and escapement and aftertouch control get you as close to the response of a vintage grand piano as possible, resulting in every key having the perfect weight and balance for your performance.
Designed to meet the needs of every musician, the Numa X Piano GT features a host of different appointments that make it suitable for a wide array of situations including a NUMA manager and database expansion. A large section of the internal memory is spared for additional sounds that are published within the Studiologic website, keeping your presets stored in a convenient manner with fast firmware updates as well.
Recording has never been easier thanks to the USB-Audio feature. You can record all of your sounds in a digital format through your computer or tablet device to capture your songs when inspiration strikes.
Additionally, there is an in-built digital mixer that lets you balance levels and edit your tracks with EQ. Treble, Middle and Bass controls are all editable through the onboard EQ as well as mixing four audio inputs and four tracks of digital mixing for use with external sources such as microphones or instruments.
