With the BDK-1 Fusion Drum Kit by Gear4music, it's never been easier to take up drumming. It's simple to unpack, set up and start playing - perfect for beginners getting acquainted with the drums. Straight out of the box, you'll be rocking in a matter of minutes.
This kit includes everything you need to start playing the drums. The 5-piece, pastel blue drum shells come with cymbals, double-braced stands, a kick drum pedal, a padded drum stool, drum key and a pair of drumsticks. Fully equipped to follow in the footsteps of your drumming heroes. A simple set-up guide is included in the box, but if you ever misplace it, it's also available to download as a PDF above.
The BDK-1's drums are made from poplar, which is a popular choice for shells. Compared to other woods used for this purpose, poplar drum shells produce bright, punchy sounds. You'll have no problem making yourself heard.
Made from steel, the included cymbals also offer plenty of volume and a decent range of frequencies. The hi-hats are particularly crisp, which is perfect for learning accents and syncopated beats. The versatile crash-rides offer the sustain and shimmer required for quiet passages, along with the definition and attack you'll need for nailing those big choruses.
Fusion drum kits tend to be slightly smaller than full size kits - often centred around the bass drum's width. A fusion kit tends to be around 20", which is midway between jazz (18") and rock (22") kits. They also have smaller toms, like this kit's 10/12/14 configuration. As such, you can pull off a variety of genres and styles with this kit, which is perfect for learning the role of drums in music.
