New for NAMM 2020, the Tré Cool 14" x 6.5" Black Mamba Snare Drum is hardly the company's most colourful signature collaboration with Green Day's livewire drummer. But it's certainly the most impressive. What it lacks in fun and fruity tints, it makes up for in performance and sheer reliability.
With its tough steel shell and chrome SJC hardware, this is a snare drum that will lap up your most manic punk fills and snare rolls and beg for more. It's perfect for punk and other rock genres.
While its smart, tuxedo-like finish lends the snare an all-business feel, the commemorative, pink leopard print Tr Cool shield adds the all-important injection of pop-punk party. Don't be a nimrod. Channel your inner Cool with the Green Day great's new signature snare!

Personally chosen by Tré himself for its crisp attack and punch-to-the-gut tones, the Black Mamba snare drum has been crafted to fully capture Tré's unique personality and deliver it at an unbeatable price. Steel shell snares are generally known for producing boosted mids, additional treble and improved sustain. And with this signature snare, you get exactly that. This is perfect for unleashing your drum rolls and puncturing through any mix.
Supporting anti-poaching causes with punk rock! A portion of the proceeds from this snare drum will go to the Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit, South Africa's first all-female anti-poaching unit. The unit is comprised of 36 young African women who patrol 50,000 hectares of the Balule Nature Reserve - part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Kruger is home to the largest population of rhinoceros in the world and is also victim to the most poaching attacks.

Having played on eleven of the band's twelve studio records, Tré Cool is best-known as the long-serving drummer of Californian pop-punk heavyweights, Green Day. Once referred to as "punk's answer to Keith Moon", Cool's manic playing style and livewire stage persona have made him one of the most entertaining drummers in rock today.
A year prior to his Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2015, Cool joined SJC Drums' impressive artist roster.
"I've played on literally every brand of US drums out there, and I've finally found my home. I've been looking for drums like these my whole life. True American hot rod custom kits. From the look and sound to the service and attention, it's good to now be a part of the SJC family" - Tré Cool
