The Roadhouse Parlour's body has been sculpted from a stunning solid spruce top that offers a broad dynamic range, versatility, and crisp articulation. The wood also provides a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm midi-range, and bright singing highs. The spruce top is contrasted beautifully by the wild cherry laminate back and sides, offering similar tonal properties that fall between the mellow tone of mahogany and the bright sound of maple.
Comfortable playability
This model features a parlour body shape, which was originally designed to be small and comfortable enough to sit and play in an armchair. It is ideal for those players who favour more low-key, less brash musical styles like alternative indie genres and folk. Its sleek, slim body and slightly sloped shoulders offer comfortable playability, making it easy to play for long periods of time.
