The RV-200 is powered by a formidable reverberation engine that ensures unparalleled sound quality. This is due to the custom BOSS DSP, 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating point processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate. The unit promises truly studio-grade performance, delivering exceptional detail and definition, from the shortest early reflections to lengthy, enveloping tails that can last several seconds.

Twelve Unique Reverbs

Offering a spectrum of reverb types such as Room, Hall, Shimmer, Slowverb, and the novel Arpverb, the RV-200 is designed to cater to every song and style. Each reverb has its own unique characteristics, from simulating a small room's reverberation or a concert hall's resonance, to creating dreamy reverberations rich in harmonic content with the Shimmer effect, or evocative pitch-shifted tails with the Arpverb. The Param knob allows users to adjust specific features within each reverb type, offering another level of customization.

Instant Sound Creation

The RV-200, much like all 200 series pedals, is engineered for effortless sound creation. It provides a dynamic yet user-friendly panel that simplifies the process of achieving excellent sounds. In addition to basic parameters such as reverb time, effect level, and pre-delay, the unit includes variable high and low filters, a density control to modify the sound's weight, and a parameter knob that provides access to a host of sound-shaping tools unique to each reverb type.

Expressive Performance Control

The RV-200 is equipped with storage for 127 reverb sounds, ensuring your favourite settings are always at your fingertips. The two onboard footswitches offer extensive versatility, with various options to reallocate their targets based on your requirements. You can bypass the effect, navigate through memories, and activate a Hold function to sustain the reverb effect for as long as the switch is pressed. It also allows the assignment of potent performance effects such as Warp, Twist, and Fade.

Expanded Operation

The RV-200 provides an array of control options to seamlessly integrate the unit into any advanced setup. It supports external control over many parameter targets via footswitches or an expression pedal, and MIDI I/O is provided on space-saving mini TRS jacks. Through MIDI, you can link multiple 200 series pedals and select memories on all of them simultaneously. Additionally, numerous functions can be controlled from external MIDI controllers and devices like the ES-8 and ES-5 effects switchers.
