Because Epiphone have loaded it with a pair of sensationally powerful ProBucker pickups. They'll give you the raw, instantly recognisable sound of a set of '50s P.A.F. humbuckers, with the thick tone that's been a staple in rock 'n' roll for decades.

But choice isn't about just providing one tone. So alongside that iconic vintage sound, you get a range of tone shaping options that'll let you play any genre or in any style you like. 3-way pickup switching means you can find the right voice for your guitar. Each humbucker is coil-split - this lets you shut off one of the two coils in the pickup, effectively allowing you to play with single-coil tone. And a specially-designed treble bleed circuit allows you to play with maximum clarity, even when you have to turn the volume down low. You've not experienced variety like this in a guitar before.
