Mahogany Body & Maple Neck

The stunning quilted maple top features a surreal blue burst gloss finish that is sure to get you noticed. It has an excellent neck joint that allows for easy high-note shredding. With a body constructed from African mahogany, the guitar produces tones that are exceptionally balanced and offer plenty of depth. The mahogany construction means the guitar is also lightweight and durable. The maple/walnut neck offers a rounded tone and helps keep things tight and bright, whilst the mahogany body creates a warm, soft tone that also brings with it some grind and bite to give it some roughness. The mahogany body and rosewood fingerboard combination produces warm, mellow tones with complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange.

The Super Wizard HP Maple/Walnut Neck

Its neck is crafted from maple and walnut, creating an incredibly bright, smooth tone with and excellent sustain and stability. The addition of KTS titanium rods ensures the neck can take harsh punishment, providing an iron-like strength built for stage life. Although maple and walnut are a naturally smooth wood, the S6521Q features Ibanez’s Super Wizard high-performance profile which is designed for shredders. This design is optimised for lead guitarists, as its thin nature helps players perform swift and nimble runs with ease.

The Ibanez S6521Q delivers monstrous tones thanks to its dual DiMarzio humbuckers, featuring an Air Norton at the neck and The Tone Zone at the bridge for ultimate versatility. Use the Air Norton to create deep, warm tones with superb harmonics, or switch to The Tone Zone to produce a wide dynamic range with a powerful projection. Use the volume, tone, and 5-way pickup selector to dial in the perfect sound for any situation.

Gibraltar Standard II Bridge

The guitar also features a heavy-duty Gibraltar Standard II bridge, which is designed to maximise the contact between the body and bridge. This design offers a more efficient transfer of the string vibrations than standard bridges, increasing the guitar’s sustain and resonance. The Gibraltar Standard II bridge also offers solid tuning to keep you strings in check, no matter the playing style.
