The Fender Custom Shop Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Strat is a high spec shredding machine. Built to the specifications of Yngwie himself, this perfected six-string offers you the rapid playability and balanced tonality that's demanded by the metal maestro. It may look like a normal Stratocaster, but it's decked out in the appointments and tweaks that'll help you raise your techniques to Malmsteen levels.
Starting with the scalloped maple fretboard and custom "C" shaped neck, and helped along by the ultra-smooth polyurethane finish, you'll soon be reaching Yngwie's tempestuous tempos. And when you ramp up the playing speed, the trio of balanced YJM Fury pickups are there to capture detail of every note. Custom voiced for each position; these Seymour Duncan single coils offer a wide range of tones to explore. The Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Strat's fretboard has been carefully carved into a scalloped style, so that you can enjoy an enhanced response when shredding at pace. Backed up by the custom "C" shaped neck, you'll have an ergonomic platform to launch those daring riffs. And finished in a polyurethane coating, manoeuvring becomes an effortless task.
Not only is it speedy, but Yngwie's Strat also offers you precise control over your notes. Together with the scalloped shape, there's also 21 super-jumbo sized frets that let you perform extraordinary string bends, and quickly flit from one note to the next with a ultra-fast action.

Tuned and wound to Malmsteen's exact specifications, these pickups are voiced to match each position on the guitar, resulting in a ranged of balanced, yet powerful tones.
Signature Hardware
It might look like a normal Stratocaster at first glance, however, the Yngwie Malmsteen Signature is anything but. Along with the speed enhancing, tone articulating features we've already mentioned, there's additional Yngwie touches that mark it as a truly unique instrument. A brass nut helps provide a clear, metallic ringing quality to your notes, and special strap locks drilled into the body ensure that you can shred with ferocity.
