Thanks to its hand-wound Original Blackguard and Twisted Tele pickups you're getting a sound that closely matches an original, but with a bit of extra output to match modern styles.
Speaking of modern styles, the carefully planed AA flame maple neck mixes a classic '54 "U" shape and nitro lacquer finish with an updated compound radius fingerboard. At the nut it's the classic 7.25" feel, but flattens out to a more lead-friendly 9.5" further up the board. These are joined by all top-quality appointments you'd expect like hand-selected body wood, a bone nut, a Nocaster style bridge assembly, and a deluxe hardshell case with authenticity certificate to round off a guitar that simply demands to be played.

Loaded with pickups that blend a modern output with classic design, Tele fans are getting the best of both worlds in this Custom Shop marvel. The Twisted Tele neck pickup and OBG bridge are both wound for a hotter voice than you'd find on an original '50s Tele, but they retain the original twang and sparkle which has made the Telecaster so adored.
Their extra output can compete with hard rock and heavy distortion, and remain articulate on cleaner songs for that bell-like chime. And with a Fat '50s control assembly shaping the pickup tones, you're guaranteed sonics which are punchy, powerful, and ready to break through any mix.
