Peavey’s first branded amplifier was created in 1961 in the basement of his family home. Since then Peavey has gone on to create a wide range of amplifiers including their Classic Series valve amps, as well as a wide range of speaker cabinets. In 1977 they became the first company to computer manufacture electric guitars.
