The SubZero Broadcasting Dynamic Microphone is a great quality cardioid pattern dynamic microphone that is a great addition to any studio set-up. Inspired by classic broadcasting microphones, this versatile mic is capable of much more than just spoken word vocals. With three frequency filters, this mic is capable of producing very precise audio reproduction, and is great to use on acoustic Strings, brass, woodwind, guitar amp, kick drum and snare, as well as spoken word and vocals.
The chassis of this mic is constructed of durable Zinc with a chrome plated surface, meaning it can withstand those inevitable knocks and bumps in the studio. Under the grill there is an internal windshield/pop filter, meaning you will always get a clear and isolated sound; additional pop shields are not needed. The integrated mic clip allows precise positioning, essential when using this mic for a variety of uses, such as micing drums. The mic clip has a standard 5/8" screw thread, meaning it will fit almost all standard mic stands.
