Thanks to the wide range of connectivity, the 4Pre can easily connect to any Mac or PC operating system for 96kHz recording possibilities. This lets you turn your computer into a fully-functioning recording studio wherever you desire! The combi-jack inputs enables you to record both microphone and line-level signals from synths and keyboards. Whilst the "Hi-Z" inputs are designed with the correct impedance to allow you to directly connect your guitar or bass without needing an amplifier or cabinet. Should you desire, this signal can be re-amped at a later date by utilising the on-board line outputs.
