The Palmer Press Patch Box is 19'' wide, designed to fit into any standard rack mount equipment box. Taking up only 3U of space, the Patch Box is convenient to use and store in a rack mount setting. The robust sheet steel housing offers excellent protection for the valuable transformers inside.
The 20 Channel Patch Box also features a bus input and output, for even further connective possibilities. When being used at events which require even more than 20 channels, the 10 and 20 channel patch boxes from Palmer can be cascaded together, without losing signal quality across units.
The Palmer Patch Boxes are also designed to carry on running, even in the unlikely event one channel fails. If one channel is knocked out then the functioning of the entire patch box will not be affected, as each of the 20 channels can carry on operating on its own. The Palmer Patch Box is a reliable signal splitter which can ensure professional sound levels at any large press conference or event.
The 20 Channel Patch Box also features a 10-LED meter with -40 to +10 dB display range, and a 1/4” headphone jack with level control, all to ensure audio engineers can monitor the inputs as effectively as possible. These are great features to have for a patch box, as the 20 outputs would not be used very effectively if the audio input quality and level is insufficient.
