Each and every DV519 violin is handcrafted by Hidersine's master luthiers. Although they all share common specifications, each DV519 violin is individually handmade and is therefore truly unique.

To ensure the Hidersine DV519 produces the best possible tone, it is made from the tried and tested combination of flamed Maple and straight-grained Spruce. These woods produce a focused and powerful sound with plenty of body which will continue to improve over time. To make the violin extra special, the Hidersine DV519 boasts a gorgeous one-piece back. Once assembled, the Hidersine violin is finished with a lovely oil varnish.

Having top-quality fittings are essential for professional violinists. Not only do they increase the overall durability of the instrument, but they can also add an artistic flair to your instrument. It will come as no surprise to learn the Hidersine violin has an Ebony fingerboard - an essential for professionals. The pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest are also made of Ebony. What's more, the DV519 violin includes a European flamed Maple bridge to enhance your tone.

The Thomastik Dominant strings are regarded as the industry standard for musicians worldwide. Featuring a multi-strand synthetic core, they produce the warm and rich tones expected from a gut string. The Thomastik strings are impervious during humid conditions so you are free to play wherever your music takes you. The sounds that the strings produce are soft and clear, with a stable intonation.

The included Dorfler no.7 violin bow is an excellent first bow for beginners or secondary bow for more seasoned players. The perfectly balanced round stick is made from quality bulletwood and sits perfectly in your hand. To ensure the no.7 bow always sings, Dorfler uses the highest quality bow hair. By exclusively using natural white hair from selected steppe horses in Central Asia, you can rest assured that your bow hair will last much longer than cheaper bows.
